AFCC Poland, coordinated by Jagiellonian University, supports the development, coordination, and integration of a national network of cities and municipalities committed to creating inclusive, accessible, safe, and sustainable environments for people of all ages. Operating within the framework and recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO), the network promotes healthy ageing, autonomy, social participation, and quality of life in older age. Its objectives include the exchange of good practices, strengthening cooperation among local governments, public institutions, and non-governmental organizations, as well as supporting local policies that address the needs of older adults, including refugees. AFCC Poland also develops tools for monitoring and evaluating initiatives implemented at the local level.
